Morena Rial, daughter of journalist Jorge Rial, was recently involved in a police operation for driving a car that apparently had been used in home robberies. The young woman had requested a vehicle from a television program to move around Buenos Aires until her return to Córdoba, where she currently resides.
In a series of revealed audio messages, Morena mentioned the need to get a car in exchange for giving an interview. In one of the messages, she stated: "We do a note, but in exchange get me a car for 20 days, someone lend it to me and I’ll give you a note. I’m serious, I need a car to get around. But she is my daughter and I love her despite everything."
Later, she insisted on the request for a car: "But listen to me, I need you to rescue a car for me. She is an adult and responsible for the path she took. I will not give an interview to anyone, I’ll give it to you, but get me someone who can rent a car, something to get around here in Buenos Aires."
In light of these events, Jorge Rial commented that he could not communicate with his daughter and was refusing to give interviews due to the situation. He focused on the well-being of his grandson and lamented the embarrassment he was going through. Morena Rial was detained during the operation, and it is expected that the events related to the use of the car in criminal activities will be clarified.
